upon the horizon; far away from all the gloom,

have heard that that is where a bright rainbow blooms.

should be there, if you’re not here any more?
Are
you sleeping peacefully, purring with each little snore?
As
I sit here, all alone, in our room,
I
pick up an old photograph and cherish it.
There
you are, I’m holding you tight in my arms,
Smiling
up into the sky, oh how fast the years fly by.
Suddenly
I sense you here watching over me,
Just
across the room; behind those curtains I see.
But
then I see that it was just the chilly wind,
Once
again, I find myself sent into tears.
I
have lost the count of the times that I have wished,
To
touch you again, but you aren’t here anymore.
All
of those days and nights that we shared together,
They
couldn’t have just been a dream, that can’t be right?
Though
our time together won’t redo and I can no longer be with you,
I
can feel you lying next to me; your warmth on my arm.
And
yes, there’s times where I will cry when I think of your face,
And
all those memories we held, I can feel them pouring out.
I
will never forget what we had, all the memories that we had made,
As
fill the pieces deep inside, these holes remaining here in my heart.
But
surely I will be fine,
I’ll
take another step forward; until we meet again!
Nowadays
I wonder how you would have felt,
If
you understood or had a voice calling me.
Were
your days filled with only pure happiness?
That
is one thing that’s resounding in my mind.
On
those dreadful nights, when I felt ever so alone,
When
I’d wake at dawn with a fragile, bruised mind.
I
always felt you run to me to keep me warm,
And
with your love, I was able to overcome it all!
Though
I can no longer see you there and I can no longer be with you,
I
can feel you standing next to me; your warmth in my heart.
And
yes, there’s times where I will cry when I think of your face,

only the downpour would fade and take these feelings away,

can’t take anymore; I just want it all to end.
From
under this rainbow I can see, your furry face look down at me,
You’re
purring oh so softly, looking troubled at me.
But
have no fear, just smile for me; that’s all I really need.
I
will keep on holding on... Won’t you come see me now and again?
My
heart’s holding onto all the times that we spent together, smiling wide!
They
will resonate into my days, that I spend shining under your light!
I
will keep smiling for you,

keep on proceeding forward; until we meet again!
